Sanguinarine Improves Intestinal Health in Grass Carp Fed High-Fat Diets: Involvement of Antioxidant, Physical and Immune Barrier, and Intestinal Microbiota

چکیده

An eight-week trial was conducted to investigate the effects of sanguinarine supplementation (600 μg and 1200 μg/kg) in high-fat (crude fat: 10%) diets (HF) on intestinal physiological function Ctenopharyngodon idellus (initial weight 50.21 ± 0.68 g), based a basic diet (5% crude fat, CON), which were named HFLS HFHS, respectively. The results showed that HF significantly impaired immune physical barrier function, disrupted balance microbiota grass carp. Compared diet, improved levels serum C4, C3, AKP, IgA, IgM, enhanced antioxidant capacity (gr, CuZnsod, gpx4, cat, gsto, nrf2 expression up-regulated). Sanguinarine down-regulated claudin-15 up-regulated claudin-b, claudin-c, occludin, zo-1 by inhibiting MLCK signaling molecules. Additionally, il-6, il-1β, tnf-α il-10, tgf-β2, tgf-β1 NF-κB molecules, thereby alleviating inflammation caused diets. Furthermore, compared abundance Fusobacterium Cetobacterium HFHS increased significantly, while Firmicutes Streptococcus opposite trend. In conclusion, had negative impact carp, ability, alleviated damage, ameliorated homeostasis microbiota.

Changes in intestinal barrier function and gut microbiota in high-fat diet-fed rats are dynamic and region dependent.

A causal relationship between the pathophysiological changes in the gut epithelium and altered gut microbiota with the onset of obesity have been suggested but not defined. The aim of this study was to determine the temporal relationship between impaired intestinal barrier function and microbial dysbiosis in the small and large intestine in rodent high-fat (HF) diet-induced obesity. Rats were f...

Interaction between Intestinal Microbiota and Serotonin Metabolism

Gut microbiota regulates the production of signaling molecules, such as serotonin or 5-Hydroxytryptamine: 5-HT in the host. Serotonin is a biogenic amine that acts as a neurotransmitter in the gut and brain. There is a perfect interaction between human gastrointestinal microbiota and the serotonin system. The gut microbiota plays an important role in the serotonin signaling pathways through the...

Intestinal Morphology and Microbiology of Broiler Chicken Fed Diets Containing Myrtle (Myrtus communis) Essential Oil Supplementation

This experiment was conducted to determine the effects of dietary myrtle essential oil on small intestinal morphology and microbiology of broiler chickens. Two hundred day-old broiler chickens (Ross 308) were allocated to 5 treatments, 4 replications with a completely randomized design. The diets were supplemented with: no myrtle essential oil (control), each of myrtle essential oil at levels o...

The effects of probiotic, prebiotic and synbiotic diets containing Bacillus coagulans and inulin on rat intestinal microbiota

An in vivo experiment was conducted to study the effects of probiotic Bacillus coagulans spores, with and without prebiotic, inulin, on gastrointestinal (GI) microbiota of healthy rats and its potentiality to survive in the GI tract. Forty-eight male Wistar rats were randomly divided into four groups (n=12) and fed as follows: standard diet (control), standard diet supplied with 5% w/w long cha...
